More than 2,500 children in the Issaquah School District rely on free or reduced-price school lunches—but when school is out, many lose access to the food they need. The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank’s youth nutrition programs ensure children have access to healthy kid-friendly food all year long. With the high cost of living and recent cuts to food support programs, the
need for food bank services is growing rapidly--making community support more important than ever. Since 2015, our community has come together through this annual celebration to raise $466,000 in support of childhood nutrition. This year, your contribution can make a powerful impact: a gift of $150 can provide a week’s worth of groceries for 8 children, and $500 can support 26 children with the food they need during summer break.
Over the years, our collective efforts have resulted in an astonishing $465,000 raised, enabling us to provide thousands of meals to local children in our community.
